I am a western-slope native, growing up in Rifle. I returned to the area in 2012, and have practiced family law in Garfield and Rio Blanco counties since then.
My philosophy in family law cases is to seek the best possible outcome for my clients through advocacy, while also recognizing the enduring relationships in families that often continue long past a court case.
As a long-time local, I am well-versed in the unique dynamics of the Roaring Fork and Colorado River valleys which often impact my clients’ cases. From the logistical challenges of intra-valley travel, to the high cost of living, and the cultural importance of hobbies like skiing and hunting, I am sensitive to the unique values of our area.
I believe in giving back to our community, having served on several boards over the years, including Girls on the Run of Western Colorado (President, 2014), the 9th Judicial District Bar Association (President, 2018), the Rifle Visitor Improvement Fund (2015-19), and Mind Springs Health (2020-2024).
In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with my two children doing pretty much anything outside—hiking, biking, swimming, snowboarding, paddleboarding, running, or simply enjoying a drink with a good view.
